On our first proper day in Hong Kong we decided to actually visit a different country. Macau if anything another stamp in the passports. To sum Macau up as simply as possible it is literally the Las Vegas of Asia as the pictures will tell. Note the interesting not so pretty high rise building in the background. This is a hotel and casino. Very tacky but you kind of love it at the same time, serial!!

Danny boy making his first appearance on our blog. Doing a cheeky bit of sight seeing of the local culture. Macau was a very interesting place on the whole. It had the flashing lights of Las Vegas along with not only Asian cuisine but, it use to be a Portuguese colonie. So it has a lot of European style buildings, churches and ruins. Such as the one pictured above.
